UT Non-Resident Permit

Seeking help in obtaining a non-resident permit in UT so I can ride legally and contribute to the sport.

I have a second residence in Idaho and have my dirt bikes registered and titled in ID. I have an Idaho resident snowmobile permit for my KTM TS. My primary residence is in UT and that's where the problem lies. In order to obtain a non resident UT permit you need to present an out of state DL - I have a UT DL.

There must be others who live in UT and have sleds and bikes registered out of state and have faced the same dilemma.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to PM if you prefer.

Thanks

Good luck dude. I've had similar/same issues. Add in the fact that it's a bike and a sled at the same time makes it even more screwed up.

I spend hundreds of dollars every year to register stuff that gets ridden a handful of times.
Last faux pas, with the better part of 100 grand worth of truck/trailer/machines sitting there, all registered to me, but a couple in another state (at the time) got me a nice $200 fine!
Followed by a year of harassment, legal fees, etc from CSI Wenatchee from 2 dill dick Fish cops.
If you find the loophole, make d@mn sure it's solid. It's open to interpretation as soon as you have 2 states involved.
And quite frankly, they see you as a revenue source when they see someone with the Ching to have nice stuff and multiple addresses in awesome locations!
