used trailer price check?

I'm looking at a used enclosed trailer. Its a 27' inline. It is a 2003 Ameralite. There are a few dents in it and the interior trim is coming off. I have a friend with the same trailer and used it several times. Pulls nice and fits 4 mtn sleds.

The trailer new would be $9000+.

What would be a good price on the trailer?

Steel or aluminum frame, walls and ceiling?
Interior lining?
Insulated?
Any accessories ie. heat, cabinets, racks, tires?

Aluminum. I'm not sure on insulated or not. No heater. It's an amera lite trailer

I would say around $5000 ballpark for the age and condition maybe less. I've seen some pretty good deals this year. Seems 4 place open trailers bottom out around $2000, 4 place with cap around $4000, and enclosed around $5000. I have a 2014 7x29 I'm hoping to get $7k out of this spring.

I think you will get $7k for your 14 depending on what it is. I think $5k for a 2003 is too much.

ive seen a brand new ATC raven for 7400 uninsulated. no heater etc ...

but trailers don't depreciated too much. id say 4000-4500 would be a decent deal. any more you're better off buying a one that is 14 years newer.

Thank you. I am very happy with it. I do plan to finish off the inside of the trailer this summer.
