Used PRO-RMK inflated values

What is with a lot of guys selling PRO-RMK's asking 10-11k with mileage on them? Just looking on the net you can get a new 2011 800 PRO 163 for 10,499 and a 2012 for 10,999. That's without even going in and dickering with the dealer yet. I think 8000-9000 is more realistic depending on the mileage and accessories. Just my .02. We'll wait until Fall to see the real values are I guess.

Some people are just unrealistic. I have a Pro that I considerd selling for the mid to high 8's with about 1300 miles and 3 years left on the warranty. Also has Fire-n-Ice vents and bumper as well as skid plate, bags gas rack etc.. I guess what I am getting at is this is more realistic than the high ballers. All the adds you put on you pretty much take it in the shorts on. Be patient they will come around to reality.

Go to CraigsList - you'll find them even higher than on here even. Was not just speaking of SW. And I only see one PRO 163 on the first page period and it is 10,000 , and another rebuilt (155) one for 9700. See a few 155's a little cheaper, but not much. You must have better eyes than me I guess.:face-icon-small-con

found four on the first page of swapmeet under 10K...should I start a thread on the under priced Pro's for sale?

Who cares what someone has priced their used ________ at? No one's going to make you buy it....just look at the ones that seem reasonable....

Talking to a guy from SD said he traded for a new one and the diff was $1600, thats crazy but good for all the pro owners, They are trying to get the money back out before the new cats hit the snow.

Ha ha, get them sold before the new cats hit the snow. That's not a threat, do you really think a sled that weighs 9 #'s heavier than the old M-chassis and the same motor will out perform the Pro's? The m's ran really good against the Pro's this last year but from what I have been hearing, the seasoned riders still preferred the old M- chassis. Hope I'm wrong for Cat's sake cause they have had a great sled in the past. Besides, with all that has been said why are we turning this thread into a "lets bash the other brand thread"? Sorry guy's I guess I fell for it.

Because its the first sled that is light and handles in every department. If it had a cat motor everyone else would nearly be out of business.

Whatever....:face-icon-small-dis

Poo guys are getting to be as bad about their Pros as Cat guys were about any well, errr, Cat. It's almost comical but sad.

Fact remains the pro is a sweet sled for the most part, like I said the reason the price is up is because its the first light weight sled that does everything and does it well. I'm just jabbing for entertainment. The poo engine compared to the cat is weak in design, quality and power. I know a lot of guys that are holding off getting one because of the motor. I am not a brand loyal rider either, there is a reason I ride a cat. We'll see how the new ones works out.
