Going a different route with the rear skid. Just bought this kit 4 rides ago, less than 200 miles on it. You will save right around 5.5 lbs (with the rear arm sleeved). Should fit all M series Float skids thru 2011.

The bad first. I bent the upper rear arm tube after my first ride. I sleeved it with 1-1/8 .049 4130 (see pic). It's a little heavier now but I guarantee you will not bend it again.

The lower shock link gusset has a small bend in it from my Ohlins shock hitting.

The rear arm tab the keeps the track from hitting is slightly bent.

Retail on the kit is $649.00 + S&H

Considering the damage I think $350 shipped is fair.

Everything is currently installed but I can pull it asap if someone is seriously interested.

I'm not sure. The parts are manufactured in China so I think its probably just a low quality chromoly. I've put a few more rides on it and it hasn't moved since sleeving it. I used aircraft grade 4130 for the sleeve.

The shaft itself is only supported on the outside inch of the tube (same as oem) so most of the upper tube is not supported, especially the middle where the shock mount is. I greased the sleeve before installing it and i was able to just about push it all the way in by hand so it wasn't bent bad.
