Upgrade a 13 to a 14

Hey guys,
Been really tossing the idea around of setting up a snow bike on my 2010 yz450.
My question is what all is needed and what roughly is the cost to upgrade from say a 2013 to the new 2014 kit?
New ski, new front arm, diff bearings, shock valving?
What else is needed to make an older and or used kit up to par with these new kits?
Reason for the question is I'm having trouble pulling the trigger on $6k plus on a kit when I've already got two mountain sleds. Although they may be sitting if I get onto the mountain horse.
Thanks.

In my opinion if you can get a used 13 kit, just get it, replace all the driveline bearings, and get the new ski. Should cost you about $350 total, shipped.

The greaseable bearings aren't lasting any better than the non-greaseable in our group's experience.

The front arm hasn't proven to be a "game changer" so just skip it they are still fun without being the latest and greatest.

Kit

My 2013 kit came with the new ski - I thought all of them did. Timbersled did send me the 6 inch ski at first because the 10 inch wasn't available to be shipped yet. When they were, I received the 10 inch ski and a return label to send the 6inch one back. I'm thinking any 2013 kit should have the 10 inch ski with it.

A 13 ski is a 10", but it is lacking the new center runner, that a 14 will come with. You can buy it from timbersled for $100.

The differences between the 2013 and 2014 are:

Color change: Not needed.
5' Brake line: $85
Dual Tack Center skag: $100
Mtn. Tamer "Flex" front arm: $300
Shock Valving: No idea what this would cost, honestly would not worry about it.
Shock Spring: $80

Total: $565

Obviously everyone will have an opinion on what is needed or not needed, this is just a list of differences and their cost.

Cool thanks for all the info guys.
I think I'm going to search around and see if I can't find a gently used kits for around $5k. If I have to pay much more than that for used I might as well buy new.
Is it possible to run any different centre skags? Or is this ski/skag specially designed for timbersled?
