Skinz originally released the headlight delete kit as a metal mesh. In typical Skinz fashion they changed it at the last minute because they felt it was better for the customer. By vacuum forming the part out of plastic it not only weighs less it looks just like the o.e.m. headlight.

Those looking for this item can find it here.

While they are making headlight delete kits, they should fire up the machine that makes the airframes.

The "machine" that makes the airframes has been working for 3 months straight, 7 days a week till late hours.... and likes Pizza... :face-icon-small-win

.

Not yet, but after my conversation with Skinz a couple days ago those are getting pretty close

Can you shoot me a PM when you know so I can get my name on one.

The best thing to do is either call in an order or place it online to get your name on one.

Plus the "machine" that makes the running boards is NOT the machine that makes the Headlight Delete Kits. :becky:

I bet it won't make them much money in the very near future when the Demand can't be met by the Supply. People will go elsewhere to find a similar product that can be delivered in a week. Internet Econ 101. I would like a set, but there is no way I am waiting until January or February to get them.

So....is it easy off and easy on like the old headlight covers on Edge chassis? If I remember correctly they were hold on with velcro. Hate to get some place where I needed more light and not be able to get it removed without hand tools.

very true but i will bet you a million dollars that the air frames are more popular and will make them alot more money that a piece of plastic with holes in it.

Believe it or not, it's not about money for the Skinz family.

This is a replacement for the headlight pod, not a cover.

So what is their ambition? They are not business driven? I think there are a couple of guys close to making airframes.

Done :) Although Skinz makes a great product, and I have some of there other products, I refuse to wait, and I too dont understand the delay, but thats just opinion.

Build the best product for the end user, they love what they do and although money is necessary to live they live for Skinz so it all goes back into the company. Hard to explain for sure but that's the best I can do. I'm not the only company who makes Tunnel Bags so it was bound to happen. Now the customer has options. :becky:
