UPDATE !! The day that changed our life Forever!

So Shawn is home and is doing very well. He is back to work at his real estate office and busy as he has strength to be. He still have a long way to go, but he is up to anything that the future will throw at him. His insurance is kicking in but there is a very large hole that needs to be filled. He has a major medical policy, but it does not cover prostetic. We are putting together a fundraising dinner on March 16th in Pocatello Idaho. The response from our community in Pocatello has been amazing. They are coming together to help raise enough money for Shawn to get a proper prostetic so that he can ride again. Many of you has responded and asked how you can help. At the dinner we are looking to have a silent auction, a live auction for the larger Items, and also a table with some silent action items. Our goal is to raise at least 30K to assist in his recovery. If any of you can assist in any way to help a fellow snowester it is appreciated in advance.

1) we are looking for donations to be used in the raffle, and or the silent auction, No item is too small! All and any Items are welcome. Items can be mailed to me directly R.Jay Henderson 2437 Bruce, Pocatello Idaho 83201.

2) Shawn has opened a pay pal account at 1badm8t@gmail.com Anything that one might be able to give will be appreciated.

We have a very long way to go and it will be a long and hard road to recovery for Shawn. I do look forward to this next winter to be able to ride again with him. There is no doubt in my mind that he will be with us again this next winter.

Thanks again for all your prayers and thoughts towards us all. They have been felt, and greatly received.

I want to give a shout out to Michelle at Oregon Trail Sports..!!!!! She sent us a box of goodies to use for Raffle. If you need parts please use Michelle !!!!!

Also a Shout Out to Phatty Dyer from Boondocker films. They also are donating some items for his raffle.

Another Shout out to Kevin Hubbard of Mountain magic Sports.. He has been selling tethers and donating some of the proceeds to Shawn.

On this note I have to tell you what happened on Friday. We were riding in the Preston area. We had stopped for lunch and bult our normal fire. Some sledders stopped to talk and one of them said " look all their sleds have tethers. they must have heard the story from snowest" HotShot from here on snowest looks at them " no we didnt read it we lived it! " Glad to see that his accident is making a differnce in the sport we love. Don't let his accident be in vain. Get a tether !!

The " Give Shawn a hand fundraiser " is coming together great. We are still in need of more items. So please give what you can to help a fellow snowester.
