update and more questions

Ok so heres the history. I got this 06 m7 a few weeks ago after riding nothing but skidoo. So im lost . Haha. So first ride out it was wayyyy sluggish in the bottom end . Turns out the deflection was wayy off. Like 2 inched down in the secondary clutch. (Probly why i got it so cheap)! So rebuilt the secondary new rollers and cleaned it up. Took it out and ran great. But i like to make small upgrades as chas permits. So im thinking a speedwerks pipe . Found a new one on craigslist for 200. Question is do i need a control box for this pipe? And what are some outher cheaper mods i can make to it. Or dose anyone have anny used parts for this sled there lookin to part with? Thanks guys for all the help!

Well your M7 should be a GIANT step up from a Skidoo if you were riding an older chassis (Summit, MXZ).

Here is a link to my M7 build http://www.snowest.com/forum/showthread.php?t=326288

As far as running a fuel controller. In my eyes, anytime you alter the the way air/fuel moves in and out of an engine, you are going to need to adjust your fuel map to compensate for the increase in exhaust flow. I would install a fuel controller for the reason above AND you are probably going to end up doing more mods (airbox, reeds, etc.)
