Unusual wear on primary and secondary clutch sheaves.

Took a look at my clutches on my 800 PRO axys today, saw some odd wear on my primary and secondary clutches. Anyone else seen this? Never had this on any of my previous polaris sleds.

The marks are a little hard to se, but it looks like alot of small pittings in the aluminium, allmost like something has gotten stuck between the sheave and belt. When I run my fingers over the area if feels a little rougher, but not pitted.

Can this be related to the makeup of the new belt? Belt looks perfect, allmost no belt dust at all.

Running an aftermarket clutch setup, sled has about 400miles.

Any input appreciated!

How do you transport the sled? Cover? Enclosed trailer? Not sure what goes on in your land for winter road maintenance. I've seen road grime do similar things to other components...?

We have plenty of road grime, mostly salt, it will definitely mess up your sled. But this sled has never been exposed to it.

I wash my belt regularly with a scotchbrite pad and dishwash soap.

I changed the belt today, just in case. Also took of the secondary and took it apart, was some metal dust in the space where the helix and spring is, but these wont be able to travel past the bushing and out? If they do I guess they might stick to the belt and cause the markings?

Added some pics of the secondary, BTW, this secondary is an old one I have that i changed out with the original one when I changed the setup. Took a close look at the stock secondary that I run for the first 6hr, I could se the same markings on it to, just not so much.
