Unusual Track Wear

On the right side of the track fibers are beginning to show above the cross bars. The sled has 450 miles on it. I adjusted the track using the service manual technique with a 3/4" hang about 30 miles ago. Is this normal wear?
Thanks

IMO.... I would say this is normal. It sounds like you made sure your track was in alignment. My last two sleds did the same thing. Use a lighter or a torch and burn off the threads. Keep ridn.

I'm not worried about the threads coming out the edge of the track. I am concerned about the threads that are starting to show through the flat part of the track, in the red box.

Both my friend and I, our Pro's did the same thing. IMO not an issue. If your still worried take it to your dealer.

I have 1,000 miles but I've seen the same thing. In fact I had to take a torch and burn the fray off of the track.

I have seen this on a few 5.1 tracks now...most of the time that I see it is in the spring and crossing dry ground..the sand(for lack of a better word) seems to get in between the track and wheels and just eats the crap out of the rubber right over the rods..so far I have never seen a failure from these wear spots..
