I know that artic cat has one that mounts to steering post. I was just wondering if anyone has tried on iq's. Or just what you have tried to un-fog or dry out goggle on the deep days. I usually put on spark plugs wire but dont ride around with them their works good but have to sit and wait. I do carry two pairs but on deep days they both get fogged soon enough.

here is a universal bag made by wps for $15

RSI has pretty much the same bag for $15 also. I mounted mine right above the engine. I did have to remove some foam.

Just took my goggles out of my WPS bag I installed last year and the inner lens was melted! I had a terrible time with the stock sticky attachments so I drilled holes and used stock screws for mounting. The plastic zipper melted too. POS!! There isn't really anywhere good to mount under the hood on the IQ not close to the pipe. Not recommended unless you have the "sweet spot" mounting position or a different brand (sled or bag). Just trying to help a fellow sled guy save some money!!

Clarifying that I have no experience with the RSI bag, just WPS. I do have a new one in the bag I'll sell if you must have one though!:)

Thanks for the heads up! I will monitor my bag for any sort of melting before I put my expensive goggles in there.

i think you mounted yours in the wrong spot man... i put on over 3000 miles last year with my wps under hood bag and nothing ever got melted, my goggles were always toasty warm when i put them on as well as my gloves. and i could put wet gloves in the bag, go ride for an hour and they were dry again. the bag works awesome!

jkinzer, where did you install the bag, and did you use the supplied sticky zip-tie attachments? I just purchased the WPS bag for my D8.
Thank you.

Mine is installed just as (Paul) Sled Solutions shows in his pic. I used a 2 part Epoxy to attach the worthless sticky tabs. Never had a melting issue of any kind.:D

Mine works good too. It's from WPS. Remove the foam, keep it tight to the intake horn as in Paul's photo, and tight towards the clutches. I used all zip ties and even drilled small holes through the intake plenum to loop the aip ties through. My bag had small heat damage from last year, but never damaged gloves inside. This is the BEST mod ever, IMO. Nice warm gloves!

Yeah, mine is down or forward from the air horn. I'll re-look this one over! Thanks for the info.
