ultra flooding center carb

I have an ultra i did a top end build on. When i pulled off the jugs the crank case was full of fuel. After i was done with the build i fire it up and fuel comes out of the two hoses that come out of both sides of the carb that connect on top into one then plugs into the air box. Any ideas?

Pull that carb off and make sure the float isnt stuck or mis adjusted. Look for any gunk or debris inside the floatbowl.

I cleaned the bowl, the floats are free. There was alot of gelled fuel in the bowl but i sprayed and cleaned good with carb cleaner.

Check the needle and seat, make sure that the tip of the needle is not cracked or distorted in any way, also check the fitment of the needle in the seat, there should be minimal side play of the needle inside the seat. Chack the float arm level as well, when holding the carb upside down with the bowl removed the float arm should be slightly higher than level with the gasket surface of the carb body. Check the folat arm pin as well, if it has worn considerably where the arm rides on it then the pin should be replaced. If there is fuel coming out of the vent lines then the float valve is not closing as it should be.

The float arm is below the gasket surface. So how do i remove the float arm and pin to inspect the needle and seat?
