Anyone have any reviews or things to know about a stage ii homer turbo for a nytro good kit bad kit reliable hard tuning or easy and reliable .?

From what Ive seen from my Ulmer turbo kit you cant beat the quality of it. Bolt it on and it just works!

On the plus side the Ulmer kit has a cast manifold. Two reasons I don't like it are 1. Location of the air intake is less than optimal. 2. Manifold and turbo are located right underneath the stock fuel tank. IMO a fuel tank should never be that close to components that get that hot. Even worse is the fact that there is no easy way of checking this area without ripping half the sled apart.

Ulmer turbo

Ive been running a stage 2 Ulmer kit, have 2000 miles on kit and no problems. I ride with push turbos and a boondocker turbo on the nytro and for lag the ulmer turbo has the best throttle response out of all of them. The best thing is i dont have to mess with anything, no fuel controller at all just ride. If i turn the boost up to 14 i run 50/50 race with premium 91 octane and dont do anything else. Last month went to Walden Co. with an elevation of about 9,500, week later went to the big horns at about 8,000 feet and didnt have to mess with anything other than turning down the fun knob.

I have no experience with his stuff but he is a great guy to deal with. I built a turbo for my sled with some parts I had kicking around. I emailed him with some clutching questions and he gave me some ideas without even trying to sell me something. I can say when I buy a clutch kit or something like that I would go to him for sure.
