woke this morning to 3 inches of wet nasty stuff but at least its white right? still falling pretty heavy, cant see the mountains.. doubt itll stick but its the best wakeup ive had in 4 months.. hope everyone had an outstanding summer and is ready for an even better winter.. i know im stoked!

Great to hear. Hopefully it will put down a base up high. Only downside is the potential for an icy layer at the bottom of the snowpack if we get a period of warm weather in Oct.-Nov.

Exactly, last year we got that horrible rainstorm which lasted almost a full 15 hours, which eventually turned into heavy snow which was what our base was built upon.. ice on ice makes bad juju hopefully we can get some nice fluffy stuff to lay down and compact into a nice solid rock..
