UFC 91 Couture vs Lesner

The event is going to be awsome.Got fourth row off the floor right by fighter entrance.Pretty sure the Freight Train is going to smash Randy.
 
Brock has shown he can be vulnerable to submission.
But if he can avoid that, Brock should win.
If it becomes an exchange of blows & wrestling exchange, it should go Brock's way.

I may be wrong.:confused:
 
This is a tough one, Randy has shown he can hang with big hitters and its not like he is bad at wrestling, he usually dominates things when it comes to the ground/wrestling type stuff. Should be interesting. Randy usually has a killer game plan that he always exacutes. I wont make a prediction on this one but I am pulling for Randy.
 
I really like Randy but I think he's in trouble in this one. One reason is he is 45 now and hasn't fought for a while. Plus Brock has shown signs of knowing what he's doing. I hate Lesnar and I'm pulling for Randy but it will be interesting. I'm still trying to figure out why Lesnar got the chance at Randy when the interim heavy weight champion is Antonio Rodrigo Nogiera? I guess it's all about pleasing the crowd and Lesnar is a bigger draw than Nogiera. I sure hope they can sign Fedor soon, I would like to see him in the UFC. I think he may be as good as "they" say he is.
 
I think Randy will pull this one out, there's nothing he loves more ,than to be the underdog. I think Randy will pick him apart, I dont think he will try to stand with him. He'll spear Lesnar every chance he gets and put him in the mat. I dont know if Randy's age is a factor yet. Not too many men that peak in there 40's. He's probably double legging Sumo wrestlers right now. :face-icon-small-win

Lesners a douche and doesnt deserve a shot yet anyway. He should take his mouth back to hollywood, I hate that chit

Wife & I went to UFC 79 last December and saw a great card (Hughs GSP, Silva Liddel & others). Was without a doubt the best birthday present I've ever gotten.

I'm toying with going to UFC 93 in Dublin. Been wanting to go there anyway!
 
I think Dana White wants Randy to win!! This way Dana looks like the hero and gets the most popular heavy weight back in the lime light.. and selling out. Didn't Randy sign on for 3 fights total???? Anyway I like Randy in the second round..
 
my money is on Randy. I can't stand lesner, and I don't think he has really been tested yet, and Randy has experience.
 
I think randy will have to much "ring rust." And I can't stand lesnar either, he seems to think he's still in the wwe.

I would love to see gsp move up and fight silva!

I thought Randy still owed Dana one last fight from his old contract and this was going to be it??

I thought Dana and Randy had bad blood between them and this was Dana's way of making a point....

I'm also routing for Randy and I think he is able to pull it off.... But O.M.F.G. Does he have his work cut out for him.... Brock has no neck.... How do you submit that freak of steroid use.... I mean nature??
 
I still can't believe lesnar is only 6'3, seems like he should be a lot taller.

Is kind of a weak fight card. Ken-flo always puts on a good fight. Why is it that they still let Jorge fight? b/c it's Franklin's buddy?
 
Go Randy! I love UFC....Jujitsu, ground combat...I want to see more fights end up on the ground....it seems recently more and more fighters don't want to get down and dirty. I want to see more submissions! I used to really be into Jujitsu and Krav Maga myself and have been a ground combat instructor...but have been plagued with injuries....seperated shoulder and tweaked ankle. I am getting ready to get back in it...miss it!
 
doesn't Lesnar have like 45 pounds on Corture?

I can't see Lesnar going toe to toe with him when he's got that big of a weight advantage .... just submit the dude :)
 
I dont know how to call it. But I bet Couture will get banged up a lil'. Got a feeling he will lose to a decision like Texas Crazy horse did. If anyone seen that scrap you will know what I mean. Lesnar hasn't got enough experience to outright submit or knockout Couture. But has enough stamina and power to bully him for 5-5min rounds, no more no less.............
 
I agree Randy is aging. How long can he go?

I agree Brock is ***gin BIG and strong and fierce.

BUT.....................think about this for a moment....Some guy with only 2 MMA fights under his belt is going to come in and take out the guys who's been in the trenches a LONG time and won a LOT of fights...and won a LOT of BIG time fights?

Hmmm. Not sure on this one...but I'm about 80% sure Randy is going to win.
