Plenty of pow out there now to start doing some forecasting and they need all the help they can get.

Tons of stuff to give away and raffle off. Hope to see everyone there!

This should be a great event. Northern riders, looking forward to seeing you and actually having some snow to talk about.

I'm bringing my 8 year old nephew... he's pretty excited he gets to ride the Trail RMK this year!!!!

12 & under $5 - fair?

Backs getting sore from hauling in all the swag to raffle off tonight. Rumor has it Craig will be there after a day on the snow to give a personalized assessment of the snowpack, plus we will be showing a short . Person would be crazy to miss the show tonight.

Thanks to all who came out last night. We hope you had a great time and learned a bit. It was great to get a chance to chat with some of you, show off what we are doing, provide some stoke, and pass on a little more avalanche info. Your support raised $1,508 which will be spent on avalanche forecasts in the Logan mountains, Uintas, Skyline and more. As a result of your support over the last few years, we have a new Uintas weather station to make our forecasts more accurate, we have new video equipment to create the videos and photos attached to our forecast, and we are able to afford more days on the snow checking out the conditions for you. We could not have done this without your help - thanks!
Have a great winter - get out, get after it, and come home alive.

Good time last night....I must be getting old though because I wish they would have turned down the volume a little.

Maybe it was because I had my kids there, but likely not cause I've thought it before. The last couple years sled movies have gotten too long.
You always want to cover the topic and then end with people still wanting a little more. I find myself and saw others, looking at their phones, tuning out, etc. Over 45 min. of a sled movie is too much in my mind.

Still had an awesome time. Great job UAC and ACUtah!

:sorry: Cpa, I kind of thought the same thing, but I asked a few people and they said it was okay. I guess we need to turn our hearing aids down.

It was a bit loud for my taste too. Great venue, great cause and a good time.
CPA, are you the guy that won the tax filing? That's funny stuff!
Thanks again Rick, Ron and the great guys from the UAC.
Ron, if you want to trade your new Look back pack for a new HMK pack, let me know.

No it wasn't me that won the tax filling, but when I heard they were giving them away I thought for sure I would.

My 9 year old daughter really didn't like it because it was so loud.

The avy video and discussion at the beginning was great for her though and made her want to learn more, which is what it's all about. So the night was a success for me and I appreciate everyone's efforts and will defiantly be there next year.
