Two Skidoo Summit Sleds Stolen from Revelstoke, BC

Hi all,

Our sleds and trailer were stolen from 3rd street in Revelstoke, BC between 1:30-8am this morning (1/10/2013). Both are Skidoo Summit sleds that are black and blue. The trailer is a two sled tilt trailer with a black 2ft tall vertical shield in the front. The 2009 sled is a Summit X 163" track with a Skidoo backpack strapped to the back. The 2010 is a Skidoo Summit 154" track with a tall Skidoo bag sitting on the back. The sleds have Oregon and Washington tags on them. VIN number for the 2009 sled is: 2BPSCP9B19V000273. The 2010 VIN is: 2BPCKTAA2AV000329. You can see photos of the sleds and trailer at the link below. If anyone spots them or has any info please let us know. Thanks a ton!

Ouch, very sorry for the loss, hopefully you will recover them. Please don't judge all Canadians by the actions of a couple of douche bags, sadly these lowlifes are everywhere.

Man that is terrible, I will have my staff keep an eye out for them as they are headed North this weekend!

Nothing personal, but I think I read more threads of stolen sleds in Revelstoke than any other location. I would think the tourism board would be interested in the lack of attendance due to this activity. I know I'm not in a big hurry to go.

I won't Jay, but those few are going to keep me from heading north with my sled. To bad.

I hope you find those/that azzwipe(s) and give 'em some real justice.

I wouldn't go anywhere near revelstoke with a sled either, it probably is the worst place in the west for thieves stealing sleds. It's just embarrasing when this sh-t happens in my country. There is no justice in Canada, our legal system is a joke and the queens cowboys are just that, cowboys. 90% of them couldn't care less about helping anyone and the other 10% just want to beat up somebody, anybody, or tazer them to death.

Sounds like a good place for a sting operation. Leave a couple sleds out and have someone with a big ol' travel trailer and have one person watching out the window at all times. When someone comes to steal the sleds everyone swarm out and grab the guilty party. Then give them some real justice that they wont soon forget.

Love riding up there...Only thing worse tan breaking down when you get to a place like Revy is having sleds stolen!!! Very sorry for the loss!!!

last trip up there...we made sure the hotel we were staying at had video camera surveillance, and made sure that our trailer was positioned so I could see it from room as well...

Sucks to have to think about that stuff...

This sucks

Sorry to hear this, we have had a rash of sleds stolen 3hours south of revy too (Nelson area) I would check with the galena ferry that crosses to nukusp and ask. The other idea that we have tired is look for a hyw cam or maybe Tim Hortons or a gas station that has a camera that faces the hwy. CPR might even have them at the tunnel ect...love to see you get a plate number of a vehicle pulling your rides!
Best of luck, ill pass this info around my area Nelson, slocan valley and castelgar.
