Twisted Turbo's Billet throttle body Boots

I think you need to get tabs welded on the airbox in order to keep everything tight. I bought them for my sled but couldn't get them to work and I don't have an aluminum welder setup.

Here's better pics of the Twisted billet boots

I asked Justin at silberturbos about the problem with the throttle body boots delaminate under boost, and he said that they are in the process of developing these boots out of aluminium too.

I was going to order up an new set of stock boots but now im gonna hold and see how they will work out.

Obviously not answering your question about the ones Twisted has, but thought you might wanna now that an other option may be on the market soon:)

I have Shain's old test Polaris 800 sled with these boots.....still working fine! One more thing I don't have to worry about.

Can you do us a favor and post pics of how these attach to the air box so other people can modify theirs to work with these billet boots?

If you dont have a Twisted airbox, you need a couple 1/4 bolts, one 2" and one 3" in length, find something to slide on the bolt and hook around the top and bottom bracket on your throttle boddies, bolt them to the throttle body boots in the threaded holes that are already there.

Does anyone know if this will fit the 600 CFI? Friend bought one for his 860 and then traded the sled in on a 600 and was wondering if it will fit.

I just got done replacing these on my sled. How much?

FYI - These billet boots only come with the what was shown in my picture above - billet boot, 2 rubber o-rings, and 2 metal o-rings. The don't come with bolts or hook ends. Maybe you could ask Twisted if they will sell you those as well.

Jonce sorry they dont come with the bolts or hook ends I can include them just dont stock the bolts and the hook ends have to be worked on by hand as I would prefer to see guys weld tabs on there air box and use bolts on each side but I do have the spring tabs and can get bolts.
If you want me to send you bolts and tabs I will.
but you will have to fit the hooks your self.

Thank you for the offer but I sold them already.

Has anyone ran these? Seems like they are going to cause problems due to vibration that was dampened by the rubber boots especially if you are running a bd intercooler that is mounted to the tunnel

How much are new boots? How about a top end? Not to mention time missed riding if you go down because of cracked or torn stock boots....
