Twisted Turbo Pump Gas M1000 Update

Guess I should give an update!!
The Twisted Turbo Pump Gas M1000 is running awesome. I have played around and learned alot this year. Shain finally go the belt issue (not turbo related) fixed and also got rid of alot of the vibration that the 1000 is famous for. The sled is responsive, clutching is spot on and meets all my expectations.
The only thing left to do is see how much boost can be run with the single injectors, which I plan to find out at the Fairview Shootout. I have installed a boost controller and a 2 to 1 pressure regulator, and after a little reprogram of the Attitude box by Derek, we will hopefully be running between 10-14#'s of boost (on Race Fuel of course)!! If this works, will give you a race/pump gas setup without the expense of the dual injectors. Boost levels will be limited, but for the guy (or gal) that wants pump gas with a splash of race fuel for special occasions, this should work great!!

Ill give an update as well. CC tells me he may not even come to Fairview now and scurry north, seems to be the direction the twisted sleds are headed this weekend, away from the shootout. Oh well Ill just have to beat up on some Boonchugger and OVS kits in FV

the stock motor should make 170. so 75 horse from the boost? no dyno?

we all know Dyno sheets are what they are...bloated and misleading
Now let me add some real world facts, the twisted pump gas turbo kit at 5-6 psi can beat my M8 at 12psi...most folks here on the forum think lbs of boost is a unit of measurement for HP...well its not, go read a damn book tards!

my little turbo puffing 30psi and my garrett pushing a cool 30psi (on my truck) are 2 totally different things. But how much boost is a dumb question. what size of turbo/compressor maps/ cfm is the kinda stuff you wanna know. im still trying to learn it's confusing
i thought so also, then i rode one...
I don't doubt for a second that they run very well. ccpowder has been on here long enough that if he says it runs good that is good enough for me.
However, while I am sure it does perform well, I don't believe the 250 hp at 5lbs of boost on pump gas for one second. I don't care what size of garrett is on it. Those #s aren't accurate.

I am just setting up the EFI on a turbo kit for a M1000 and at low boost you have to dump a wack of fuel to keep it happy, just doing the rough math for the amount of fuel you add it will put out close to 250 hp @ 5 psi. I have never had any turbo kit I put together come alive at this low of boost like this thing. I had to test my boost gauge because I thought it was reading low
