i have pg m8 how much more does the 1000 have than the 8 iv ridden 1000 at 13 # and it was a huge jump from my pg m8 but not as fun in trees

Aside from the initial 20 or so hp, I think that they should perform the same at pump gas boost levels. Even turned down to 9 lbs, the 174 is better for spring or super deep. I'm looking to have both so that when it's super thick and foggy, I can play in the trees and fuel up at the pump.
is this a 3071 or 3076 on there? or is it a 28 series? with the low boost i;d think a 28 would flow enough and be real responsive in the trees.
i'm running a 3071 at 12-14lbs and its not as peppy as my 800 at 10lbs was (aero) but wow does it have way more power on the big end!

i'm gonna turn mine down to 8 and see what happens... i'll have to put in some race as i'm at 1500ft but just wanna see how the bottom end feels. i changed my compression a lil also so that is hurting my low end some too... its very rideable still, just not what i'm use to... prolly need to change my style more then trying to get the sled to do something its not capable of the way its setup.

My bottom end is amazing, sled is as easy to boondock as any sled I have ever owned. Maybe Twisted does some things different that may help with this, dont know.

Yes, Fairview will be fun. The pump gasser will be turned up, just not sure how far yet. Maybe just enough to beat Freak!!
Pump gas kits run great and have been reliable, but good gas is a must, one of our customers last week smoked both his pistons and jugs with bad gas. Can happen to any sled, good fuel is #1. Some of our pump gas customers run a gallon of race to every tank of fuel just to be safe. Still cheaper than straight race. I run my 1200 at 7lbs on 50/50 and have 900 trouble free miles and it pulls same as race kit 1000 at 12 lbs. Getting smoked by an 8 running 18lbs doesn't bother me as racing isn't what I do,some of the tuner guys on here think to have the fastest sled is #1 priority. I have a very powerful, reliable sled that will go anywhere I point it and it is good on fuel.

Wait til next week and CC's pump gas kit at 6lbs will update you on how he got smoked by a RACE GAS TM8 pumping 18lbs of BOOST with a mix of ?NOS....
And wait for pics of Sir Hatchers towing out both of my sleds

Um you did forget one minor detail in their snatchers, CC's is a mighty 1000 turbo whilest mine is a lowly m8. Boost for boost would be just as unfair. With my CPC kit I have the ability to run 7lbs thru 18lbs whichever I prefer so long as I have proper fuel. And it seems to me CC has just as much into our little friendly grudge match as I do so its pretty fair.
update hatchers : CC tells me hes trying to run 14lbs on his "pg turbo" 1000. Now call me crazy but at 14lbs its a pump gas turbo no more. And Ill bet a 1000cc motor running 14lbs with a 3071 garrett is pumping more air than my 800 with a 2871 at 18lbs.

If he runs pump gas Ill call it a pg turbo. No way in hell CC is running 14lbs on 91 LMAO! I dont care if he runs 35lbs I will still race him and I will still pay up if he wins. Its all fun, just that Hatchers previous post was saying how unfair this race was and I was pointing out, its not that unfair at all. btw, I am bringing 2 sleds to FV and I guarantee at the end of the day that I will be faster than CC when all is said and done

Ok, Race Fuel in a Pump Gas setup. Thinking if I can get Derek to reprogram my box and run a 2 to 1 pressure regulator, I can run between 10-14#'s with the single injectors. Guess we will see!!
FYI, I dont care if I win or lose, just having fun with Freak. However, if I beat him, it will make my year!! And him handing the dollar over will be way better than the clown suit 383 wore a few years back. LOL
