Twisted Turbo Fuel Pressure

Hey guys, just bought a 09 M8 TT and sometimes i have to jump fuel pressure guage in order to start. Any idea where to start looking? As well does anyone have a set of instructions they could fax or email me. I'm tuning in the dark. Thanks for any info!

jump fuel pressure guage?...what does that mean?

pull the rope and you should see 40lbs or almost 40lbs......never move the throttle when you start the sled, should start in 1-3 pulls....let it warm up for a minute or two before you ride it or even move the throttle, this is a turbo M thing:beer;

PM product tester or snowstar for the instructions

I have to plug a 9volt into harness. Then it will start in a few pulls.

sounds like you dont have the harness connected right....be careful with the 9v battery, ive done this before and the battery got very very hot, burnt my favorite nose picker:o

how much fuel pressure do you see when you pull the rope?
does the pressure hold?
is the boush fuel regulator pressure adjustment screw all the way in?

understand the fuel pump will only get a very quick pulse of power when you pull the rope, a 9v battery is continuous power and running the fuel pump constantly:beer;

????

mine was good for the first weekend it held right about 40 psi at idle but now it is sitting at 34 at idle

whats up with the not cracking the throttle to start it im having that problem now?

when I pull the rope I only see around 20-25 psi, but I have not had a bit of trouble starting, and I have 40 at idle. should I be worried about this?

After 2 or 3 pulls on the rope I am basically at my idle pressure. If you're that far off, something may be amiss.

Depending on what pressure regulator you are running the pressure won't be at full until running. CPatts and mine have the Turbosmart regulator not the Bosch.
