Tweaked front end 09 XP

Ok guys, my buddy called me and said that his XP whacked a stump a week ago. It took out the a arm and shock...so he got a shock and had an 08 a arm (they are the same??), buckled it back together and now the shock spring is touching the a arm. He said that it measures up that one ski bolt is about 3 inches ahead of the other. So this is a tweaked nun?? If he wanted to ride it the rest of the season before he tore it completely down to fix it right, is there anyway to tweak it back?? If so, a how-to would be great!! Thank you!!

You can take it to a body shop that does frame straightening, it cost me $50 to straighten mine, although after that, it doesn't take much of a whack to bend it again. I'm in the process of replacing my 3rd nun this year ! this one will be beefed up with steel !!!!!!!!

Remember though, the more strengthen the S module, the more force you apply to the E module. Its not very strong either, and trust me, MUCH more of a PITA to do than a S module

just make sure the e module isn't tweeked and run it for the season. A come along could probably help bring it back a bit. I twisted my s and e modules up pretty good. The S module is an easy change. The e module is a *****.

if someone could post a pic of the e module and an s module that would be great... make sure were talking about the same thing:)

bent s module. i guess there's an aftermarket company building some sort of bracket to strengthen this problem. If someone could post the link to that part that would be great as I have to order one.

How are you going to beef up your nun with steel? I am in the process of replacing my nun, and e-module for the second time this year. If you could post, or pm me some pics of your beefed up nun that would be helpfull.

x2, Anybody know of this product?

brace

Grip-n-rip racing products make a $34.95 brace for this region of the xp. How well it works is yet to be determined by a friend with a twice bent sled. Bent i'll add, by the slightest of impact.

A friend of my moved his right a-arm/shock 3" back and said he is not messing with it,cause he rides steep an deep an his skis are in
the air when it counts and trail riding is just to get to the pow!:d

I took out my whole bulk head about a month ago. Guess where my sled still is.?!!!! YEP in the shop. Im so glad that ski doo parts take so long to get here. I love not riding in all of the fresh pow that we are getting.
