turning down m7 oil pump

i have the skid plate off and have the pump exposed, i can see the linkage barely, do i need to pull the linkage loose from the pump to adjust? i figure i do, but it's hard to see whats going on, what does it take to pull the linkage loose from the pump if thats the case? it's a hell hole to work in.

Yes, you do. On my 05, it just pulls on/off the throttle bodies and off the pump. It's got a little ball/socket connection. I agree, it's not fun to work on.

Avoid the injection elimination if possible, IMHO.

The oil pumps on cats aren't linear in the way they oil, so when you lean on them, you take a chance of having a dry spot in the throttle, no bueno.

Premix & you've got no issues.

Does anyone have install instructions for the injection elimination kit? Does installing this void the warranty?
