I thought it was there best one yet , especially since it was dedicated to our two friends/pro riders we lost in turnagain. and for all the ones affected by that tragedy. r.i.p. bigbird - cristoph

I didn't like it. How can you possibly have so much ramp footage when you film in a state with such sick backcountry???

how come the guy doin the one had superman thing is the EXACT same in both the dvd cover and the premier poster but the background is different? cough cough photoshop cough

Great Film...Thanks again!

Yet another great film...of course i guess i would feel a little let down if i went with the intent of watching anything besides ramp tramps. It must be impossible to capture how truly exciting hillclimbing is because when you watch someone on vid its extremely boring(unless it's yourself). Not because hillclimbing is boring, but you can never really tell how damn steep it is. Or maybe its the mid 80's soft rock. Who knows?

That is Parsons Pulling that trick on the 110 jackass! He can repeatedly pull that trick over and over.
THC did miss out on ALOT of footage this last season with there headliner (Dane) focusing on Comps. They did have alot of out of staters pulling some knarly tricks off from man made snow hits. I personally dont think this video is one of there greatest but they did not have a great season of filming. They lost a rider who always has his own segment this last year. If they dedicated half of the video to powder carving and hill climbing would you buy it? Probly not!

it isnt half dedicated too powder carving and hillclimbing, and im not buying it.. id buy slednecks if i wanted to watch people jump and hit back country drops and hillclimbs. its just an idea too go for a broader audience, throw in some hardcore hill climbing at turnagain... or even better, placer!:beer;
whatever tho, i would rather watch a crappy turnagain or slednecks video over any other video, winters coming!

just to break down why I don't have hillclimbing and powder carving. Last year turnagain recieved over 850 inches of snow so there was plenty of pow to film.... it is just that the machines in this day and age rip it so well it is like ski movies running powder segments now that everone is on fat skis. Just about anyone who really rides can rip pow nowadays. I can't remember the last time turny got enough pow to keep people from going over the top and we had some really deep days. There are so many film companys out there that basicly dedicate themselves to this area of riding that I just dont focus on it or really pay that much attention to it. Don't get me wrong I still love to rip pow but it does not give me the same feeling as getting air and making trany. The other reason is that our entire crew is on short track race sleds. Everone can thank Nick from AMDS for this. He started selling race sleds to mountain riders about 4 years ago and that completly changed sledding in Alaska. A modern race sled is all about suspenion so firm snow makes sleding feel a lot more like a dirt bike. So I get really stoked to see the few people in the world that can trick a 100-180' foot jump.

As for hillclimbing I just don't understand the rush I guess. Maybe the mountains aren't steep enough at turnagain like they are in the lower 48 but I would rather spend the time on the moutain with my friends building a jump than siting in my garage with my friends wrenching on turbos and other mods. I love to watch the hillclimbing vids but I just don't think I can go out and shoot that style of riding.

I love all types of riding but right now I am just focusing on a more agressive motocross style of riding that I dont see in the other films. I think it is a lot like all action sports. I would rather watch a really technical trick movie over watching a "soul" backcountry movie.
