Anybody running their Turbo Nytro with the stock track\skid. Don't want to but looks like money's only gonna afford the turbo kit and maybe some better boards.

I am running the stock track and skid. It sucks but what do you do. Next year I will have a new track and skid. I might possibly put a tunnel on it. I am not sure how much money I am going to put into it.

we just got back from Cooke last night. It was snowmobiling but visibility sucked. I would have rather had my rev but they are both broke down. One with a pinched o-ring. Gas is getting expensive so I thought I would try water. The other has a crank bearing out. It was do. It had a ton of miles on it.
For me, the turbo is like riding a sit down jet ski. You can spin them around a few times and race back and forth fast but I get bored quick. I would rather have a stand up. The turbo nytro is an awesome sled. The deeper the snow the more fun it is. The lesser the snow the less fun it is. I like to jump off cornices and spin around on my tail in tight spots. The turbo takes the fun out of it with its weight and suspension. It also sucks when you have to add a quart of oil all the time if you lay it on its side. They aren't that great in the trees in wet snow either. Probably not the right site to whine on but I don't care, I own both. Just my opinion. Sorry, I got to babbling.

I rode a stock skid and track all season, it was still really fun, the only time it was bad was on really steep stuff. For just general riding it did seem to bottom a lot towards the end of the season. Next season I will be upgrading to a new skid and track. If you are going to run the stock skid just get used to wheeling everywhere.

i turned my stock track around and it worked ok , kinda like and A20 track . if youre tight on cash look in the swap meet for a challanger take off of a cat
