1200, tss a/w, boost-it, have the 2871 and 2860 GT turbos.
Would there be advantages to switching to a newer billet wheeled turbo over the ones I have on the shelf?
Is the hype true stuff I have been hearing? (this ___ spools faster then the 2860 but flows way better then the 2871 on top)
GTX, precision, Kpa? 2863, 2871?
plan to run 15-16 lbs boost straight av. Subject to change....

Thanks
Kevin

I switched to a Kpa for my polaris, the sled rips like never now. Spools faster and harder then the garret ever did.

Not a Ski-doo but on my front mount Apex. I went from a 2871 .64 AR to a 2867GTX with a .84 AR. Didn't notice it being any slower spooling. The one thing I did find is that I was pulling the same clutch weight on 2 or 3 less pounds of boost.

you wont be sorry !! GTX garretts are the quickest spooling turbos on the planet.. in side by side tests with std garrett and comp turbos the 11 blade gtx leaves them like stones. even a nice gentle breeze makes a gtx spin. cannot beat dual ceramic ball bearings and 11 blade wheels..:welcome:

Thanks guys!!! If it went much longer without replies I was going to pm you Gus!!

The kpa looks tempting , tss and turbo performance are both using them!
