Turbo tuning

Over the weekend i purchased my first turbo. I do not know what elevation it is set up for.. but let me tell you up on corona i learned a hole new meaning to turbo lag... (sounded more like the turbo was holding the engine back)

Its a 07 polaris 600 Turbo the lady i got it from had no idea about the sled as it was hers in a divorce. (reason i got a awesome deal)

So i am wondering where do you guys take your turbos in Colorado?

I know many simple shops wont deal with them(or dont know how). The last thing i want to do is take it somewhere and have them mess it up!

Thanks!

Call VOHK.

He's a turbo installer & innovator, has been working with them for a long time & he's now a poo dealer.
He may not deal your particular setup, but I'm sure he can help.

google alpine motorsports in kremmling, the owner's name is Erik.

Do you know what kind of setup it is? What kind of box is on it?

Was that the divorce sale I saw posted on Craigslist? Had a whole bunch of stuff and just one of the items was snowmobile? If so congrats.

it more sounded like to me she was the one who brought the money into the relationship... but yes i saw it on craigslist... and she didnt even know it was turbo tell i got there.

ill give those two places a shot!

I think just by judging from pictures to pictures its the aerocharger.. i may be wrong. but at lower altitudes it is more powerful then my 800 stock for sure. just get to the top and it takes a poop i thought i blew it but then ran fine again once in lower elevation.

Thanks for the replys!
