turbo sizeing

hi, i was thinking of trying to build my own turbo for my m8 and m1000 and i see people are running gt 2860 and 2871 but when i looked at garrets web site there are so many options of those tubos. so i was wondering what ar's on compressor and turbin i would need. and what size induce and exduser on the compressor and trim and wheel diameter and trim on the compressor. any input would be helpfull so i dont waist my money on a turbo that wont perform well

turbo rebuild

go on boondockers website they have the turbo rebuild centers on there they are around 800 to 1000 dollars

sorry i miss read i am using a 2860rs on my m7 . i run about 12 psi of boost no problems

just get one from one of the vendors on here that uses em for sleds, then you know your in the ballpark. silber has some good deals on them.. and is a pretty sharp guy for getting you sized up for what you wanna do.

3071 for a m1000. The m1000 bore is 5mm larger and 8mm longer stroke, the reason for the big turbo is the small ones create to much intake air temp and can cause melt downs.
