AH hell, just get the gt30 and call it good.
You didn't even really have the 28RS cranked up and you already want more???????? Seriously though for the type of riding we have around here I would stick to the 28 RS.
When is it enough????????
I'll wait until I have maxed out my 28RS before I move on. (probably never happen) By then the sled will probably be bent in half.....Well that could be pretty soon at the rate I'm going!!!
When are you picking it up?? Might send mine down with you for Rods/pistons.

According to Dustin anything over 20-22 lbs needs valve train upgrades as well.

Did he get it cracked open and see what happened??

It also depends on the elevation you ride at. At our elevations in AK, the 28rs is the turbo to have. If you ride 7000+ feet then 20 lbs will be really working the 28rs. Many guys are running the 2871 with the smaller exhaust housing to help make up for the additional lag.

I have not asked yet waiting to call on motor dont want to bug him I own a auto shop so its easy for me to get turbo and shop pay 4 it. I told him I was going to get the 28 rs and when I went to get it the guy at the turbo store sugested the 2871 but he is in South Carolina I dont think he understands the turbo MT sled deal he just said it would make more power and a little slower to spool. Boondocker sales it as a UPGRADE?????? or so they sayWhat turbo does Dustin say to go with?
