Turbo Proclimb cold air & exhaust

So with all this bigger 2876 turbo talk, it got me thinking about these new sleds and possible issues with turbo. Are these sleds going to have a serious capping off problem when turbo'd? What are your thoughts on cold air intake and belly pan exhaust? Do you think a cold air intake will help fix a capping off issue? Is a tunnel dump going to be possible?

Also I was looking at this picture and realized the extremely small exhaust exit out of the turbo housing. I looked at my CPC exhaust and it's twice this size. Is this the same on current BD, Twisted and OVS kits? Is this small exhaust the reason people are seeing so much heat build up on the smaller 2860 and 2871 turbos????

what size exhaust tubing (outlet) is best to use I think is what he is meaning?

I would also like to know the same 2.5-3 inch has to be fairly close.

Consider that a four stroke is moving less air than a two stroke.

That is what I was noticing. The exhaust looks like 2" tube but then the plate the tube is attached to is blocking off half or more of the outlet. To me it looks like this would build heat in a huge way.

what they are doing on that one is a 3d outlet flange. its pocketed on the inside so it can push the wastegated gas over into the outlet pipe while still running a small turbo...

builds more exhaust heat, makes less power. etc. ideally straight 3" is the way to do it. or better yet, tial housing and an external gate. the picture shows the lazy way to do it. also i beleive that a bigger downpipe helps w/ bogging as you got a larger surface to try and plug up. and cold air into the turbo is always a plus... start the air cooler, finish it cooler.

The OVS 2012 Proclimb Kits all feature Tial external wastegates with 3" exhaust and muffler. The pics will be on the website this week with pricing. I will also post pics on Snowest. I hear OVS has a pump gas kit with the Tial complete with gauges and a True Garret ball bearing turbo for under $4000.00. OVS will release all the info by Sept 23.
