turbo problems

m-8 turbo has everything new controlbox, turbo, reeds, I noticed that where the tps bolts on it is cracked and bolt is missing sled runs great most of the time and then breaks up really bad on top end and even backfires. if I pump the throttle enough or let it cool it seems to run good again for about 3 or 4more hard pulls could it be this tps or something else please give me some ideas im at my wits in. and by the way I have put tons of different plugs in trying that too. I am running 18000 plug gap with 112 race fuel

18000???...whats that mean?

whats a tps?

reeds are bad if the sled backfires on top during a long pull

I would try that Throttle Posion Sensor (tps) try one off a buddys sled if you have one handy then if thats not it you didnt have to buy it

you might have to callabrate the TPS sensor to make it work right.
Sounds like you are just running rich. what does your egt's or o2 reed when this is happening?

What kit is it?

What size turbo are you running?

How long are the pulls?

It might be too small and after 4 hard pulls it heats up and it will then run rich since the charge air temp is higher. Intercooler?

Whats your boost?
