Turbo oil

Ive. Thought there was a thread for this but can't seem to find it. What oil are you running in your BD turbo pro. I,m running the T2C oil that came with the kit but is there an alternate that may be easier to find in Canada.

Oil for the Turbo itself? Any 0W-30 or 5W-30 Synthetic motor oil is all that is required. I would use Amsoil, Royal Purple or Mobil.

If you are not going to run the BD Turbo Oil, I would recommend running a good synthetic 2 Stroke oil. Preferably the same as what you are running in your motor. The bearing "seals" on a Garrett turbo, are not what you would traditionally call a "seal" and do let a little oil out into the turbo. It is a very small amount, but it can get into your motor, so you want something that is not only good for your turbo, but also that your motor can burn properly.

Is the boondocker T2C oil a 2 stroke oil as well it says 2 stroke on the label. I have stayed with the polaris VES Gold for my injection, Powervalves looked good after last year so stuck with it.

I recently aquired a turbo sled, it is currently running Polaris VES oil in the engine and the turbo. Any pros or cons on running Redline in a Boondocker turbo 800 Dragon? Both in the engine and the Turbo?
Thats what I've run in EVERYTHING in the past, the AVgas/Redline smell from the weedwacker gets me through the summer.
