turbo oil pressure guage?

Debating whether or not to run a mechanical oil pressure guage for the turbo?

Just tee a line off the oil circuit...

Who runs them? Recomend them?

I got it in my kit like the idea of being able to know that my oil pump is working from what I understand its common for these pumps to fail

Yeah, I run one.. also run a idiot light on my dash to know it is pumping.

How did you go about putting the idiot light in?

Powered pressure "switch" on a t. Then a small light from radio shack on the dash. Lights on, I have oil.

Great idea on the idiot light. Now hopefully is doesnt go out way in the back country haha

Before you get to far into it, make sure you can get a switch with low enough of a pressure to trip it. Does that make sense? Some of the pumps dont make a lot of pressure. Like running off your stock oil pump...

thats why I always carry a spare pump in my pack.

i would run a gauge. i only had 6 or so hours on the turbo last year and when i did the pre season i decided to check the oil pump and it didn't work. just cheap insurance i suppose.
