hi guys, just wondering what to use, can i get a fuel filter? paper one? or what, where should i install it? before the pump? or after the pump? it doesnt pump a whole lotta oil any how, but just wondering on all that, thanks

ok, so like a oil filter from the oil injection? or what, can i get a Part number or something? so i can go down to the polaris dealer and see about getting 1?, and im hoping it filters the oil nicely? i know my oil has little bits of metalic bits in it, and i cant really clean it all out, ive tried, so i know its time to put a filter in, Thanks!

Yes it is the white and red oil injection filter. Just run down there they know what the part number is. Or call I will send one out ASAP.

went down to polaris dealer, they got lots there, 3 bucks each, but im lookin at it, and wonder, will it plug up easy or fast? or should it be fine?, but i guess bryce if thats what you guys are using, it must work good then

and i guess that could work wouldnt it, its probably a bigger Screen in it, so it might be better then the polaris 1 in the sense that it wont plug up so easy???? but not too sure, i know my oils kinda dirty with a bunch of bits of stuff that i couldnt clean out but i wonder if it might plug up the smaller filter, hmmm

well i can always try the polaris 1 and see what happens any how

if you got the little red and white injection oil filter that is like 2" long that is it. they work great. never had a problem with one yet. we just try to use parts that you can buy anwhere you go sledding

yeah, ill give it a try, and it goes after the pump you say? so pumps pushing through it, not sucking?,

and its good to try to get parts for stuff local, it deff does help

i doubt there would be much of a problem with the oil getting dirty. Not like the oil is shared with an engine where there is metal shavings and fuel dilution. I think its a good idea though. i would like to find one that is an AN in and out to run off my braided line.

im thinking you might be looking for something thats like a Car inline fuel filter type of thing that uses fittings?

get a real filter,

i suggest magnefine

best uses are automatic transmissions, turbos, power steering, hydraulics etc, fool proof, replace it once a season.

put it before the turbo.

good to know about those, but i already got a filter in, hopefully it works, but in either case its good to know of such a filter out there, both types of filtering, magnetics and the finer non megnetic stuff,
i got some rubber and bits of aluminum flowing through the oil, so a screen is much better, but good to know of such filters for down the road for sure!!

debris in the turbo oil... !!!!

STOP find th source,, YOUR isssue with misfire could be turbo seizing

well, i know where its from, and i tried to clean it out as best as i could, but basically between the guy who fabb'd the oil tank, and then cutting it open and shortening it up and re welding, when it was open i tried my best to clean it out and wash it out, but i guess it was not as good as i thought it was, but once its sealed up, its sealed, its more less the very small stuff from the band saw, but got a filter on it now, turbo is also fine, fewf
