I just got my mcx kit on my nytro and took it for a spin, I am getting 16,s on my a/f gauge as soon as the boost comes on in the mid. I haven,t been able to hold it wot yet snow is to hard, what are the rest of you seeing for a/f readings, thanks.

richard what guage do you have?
When I had the MCX dispay I had 16 @ WOT.........took the guage off and now I don't look at it.........2000 k and all is good.;)
Acutally I think the sender was fawkd so i took the whole guage off as other that have the same kit see 12.5:1 which is what to expect.

Randy I have an innovate LC-1 on it. its reading 11,s at idle and it is rich at an idle stumples until it cleans out then runs 12- 13 until the boost comes on then it goe,s right to 16,s.

Those innovatives work like POO, not trying to bash the one you've purchased, but we've had nothing but issue's with those gauges, half the time the require a re-flash because the calibration's all out to lunch.

thats what I am hoping for if the gauge is wrong then I have no worry,s but I just want to make sure I didn,t screw up the wiring and its not getting fuel through the secondary injectors, I would think the readings would be higher if that was the cause, and it pulls hard so I think its getting the extra fuel.

Mine has worked great. Have seen others with problems. 16 is scary if it is 12-13's everywhere else but on boost! Might not be adding fuel on boost for some reason.

Took my sled (Nytro/MCX) out for the maiden voyage and was seeing high AF numbers on my Innovate xd16/lc1 gauge. I was also having a low power problem. (primary would not engage) I was told that I might have a pinched vacuum line on the fuel pressure regulator or off of the throttle bodies/brainbox or a kinked fuel line...causing it to run lean and not build any HP.

Could this be a similiar problem with yours?

After taking all the plastic off the sled and looking it over on the MTN, we found the bottom vacuum line on the fuel pressure regulator was touching the frame rail behind the headlight. I'm wondering if this might be the culprit. Pushed it away from the frame it ran awesome for about 10 minutes and then did the same thing again. I'm wondering if the line moved back over against the rail (didn't have time to check or pull it apart yet). Going to zip-tie it next time to try and isolate the problem.

I will check and see, it runs good and pulls hard just high a/f readings, other than that no signs being lean, thanks.

I took it apart and inspected everything no problems with the install, so I will put it back together and run it and see what happens. dealer still says readings are normal.

ok went out today and was able to run it wot up hill, 11.5,s wot wide band is working fine, 11.5 to 12 everywhere except between 3-5 lbs of boost then its 16,s and spits and pops another indication of being lean, this is with out a doubt the best sled I have owned, the mcx turbo works great except the lean spot, this has got to be fixed. mine must be worse than others because this thing will not beat anything out of the hole with the lean spot,no matter how I work the throttle its there, once it gets paste that point it runs great.
