Brad, could you fill us in as to what your testing with BRP? I don't like the sentence that states " we have sold 100's of kits and are currently testing" don't get me wrong here, not bashing..... Just looking for more info on the Etec and I am actually on the Aero wagon again for the Etec as I see it's the only kit that's "working" I'd sell my Garrett if I knew more
I was not there all week (been very sick) and only got updates every night. The testing started with Felker Motorsports on Sunday and then BRP on Monday-Thursday, today was with ZBROZ. Testing included the follow areas Clutching, Gearing, Front end width, Front shocks, Rear skids, rear shocks, Handle bar position, new billet Blow off Valve and springs, Vacuum free air box, Track Trimming, Traction, Turbine size, Turbine housing porting, Compressor housing porting, pipe tuning, RAVE control and timing, Fuel settings, Ignition timing, Seat height, Reeds, handle bars, Snow flap, Pipe tuning, Y-Pipes, side dump, Cylinder porting, and I am sure I missed something, Basically we were testing for the RMSHA team and how to improve consumer products. I hope we have lots of pictures and video but we will have to wait until the crew returns. The testing showed the 600cc E-Tec to be very strong. We ended up turning the boost down to 8psi from the 10psi we had it set at. I hear the 600 is running with the 800’s. Not all testing went as planned and some of the great ideas turned out to not be so great. Other ideas went better than planned. I will get Andrew to fill in some of the details when he returns. Please keep in mind we are in a competitive market and race circuit so we cannot tell everything we learn but we can make it part of our kits. Let me know what you would like to hear more details on.
