turbo kx 450 thinking about pulling the triger

im thinking about putting a boondockers turbo on my 12 kx 450 also going with rekluse clutch. i would like to those who have turbo-ed there bike and see how they liked or disliked it. if you would like to keep you comments privet just pm me. thanks Rodger

KX450 is a good turbo platform. Just definitely definitely definitely replace the stock clutch. It will not hold up in the spring. I think you'd be better with a manual clutch than an EXP auto. Look for TorqDrive from Rekluse.

Just finished several Dyno runs with the Rekluse set up for turbo application. We were pleasantly surprised that it worked well even up to 110HP. Prior clutches (manual and Rekluse) all started to slip around 60hp. When you order from Rekluse just be be sure and let them know it's going on a turbo snowbike.

I would strongly suggest u choose the supplier carefully. Get some dyno sheets from the builder. I have seen the ones that work great Cr500 would be a good guy to talk to in my opinion.

If you spend a little time on Kelly's website and review the dyno charts it is very clear that he builds excellent kits. It's really just black and white IMO!
