Turbo f7-8 backfire

I have a f7- f8 carb turbo sled. When you let of the throttle it will backfire out of the exhuast. Running 12 lbs of boost. Only does this when you chop the throttle.Reeds are good,pressure tested it and it holds good pressure.any ideas

Does it have a blow-off valve? The pressure can be pushed back into the case when you let off.

Yes it does.but I don't hear it blowing off
