Whats Everyone Running??? Whats Working?? Whats Not Working?? Opinions??
Been hearing alot about The MDS Turbo Weights.............

My opinion is you couldn't have posted a more vague question.:face-icon-small-con

What sled and track length?
What boost and who's kit?
What elevation?
What riding style?
What clutch kit if any?

Need more info!

Doesn't the clutching that they provided work very well? My Kit came with 80gr cat weights, 36/46 Dalton, and a different primary spring.

What are you running for a primary spring with that? Reason I ask is that they sent me 80g cat weights and a cat black primary spring with my kit (09' M8 w/ IC, EBC, etc) ....

The '10 should make more power than the '09 especially with the turbo pipe, and you are running at a lower elevation than I am (I'm usually at 8-11k) ... I was over-revving my sled to 8100 or so with that clutching @ 8.5 psi....

Just curious is all, I'm gonna start the season out this year on 12-13 psi and BD's clutching recs which were the Magnaforce 83g weights and their titanium spring .... dont know how well itll work but well see i spose

itd probably be best if I just called vohk and just asked them to sell me whatever their recs were on that sled/kit lol

80-90g turbo mag weights with a Gold/white(135/305#), 36/46* with a red/white(260#) in a CPC torsion secondary. Runs great at 8-10k on 5# to 11# boost.

The Primary Spring that came with the kit is a Solid Green/Red Stripe ..... I'm also looking into adjustable weights..... Can't Decide on

Cutler Adjustable Turbo Mags
MDS Adjustable Weights??

For what it's worth. I've tested the cutlers and the D&D mag weights on my setup. The D&Ds were the best for my setup. They are quite a bunch more adjustable.

Don't have any experience with MDS

subscribed! am looking for a set of weights, i go from 4 to 9 lbs regularly and one set of weights is not ideal...would like to run it at 8000 rpm no matter what boost!

I was going from 6-10lbs with MDS weights, rpm ranged from 8000-8150 on 09 m8, and never had to touch it with a stock 36* helix and way more track speed.

What's your Setup?

09 With 11#s of boost at 9000ft

Low gears (55/65): 87grams in my (83+) DD magnetic weights - (ovs SU turbo helix and torsional setup) I think its a couple of degrees high and/or low of 40. Fairly strong spring in the primary but a relatively soft spring in the secondary. Very rippy on the bottom....awesome on/off/on throttle, always crazy responsive.

Stock gears (57/63): 92 grams in the (83+) DDs - same everything else
A little more tame on the bottom but on/off/on throttle just as crazy.

Clutching

I will be running a 2010 with BD RG kit at 12# and am wondering what I should run for clutching. I am running a camoplast 162 x 2.5" track. I would like to be able to turn down and run PG if I need.

I am thinking about adjustable weights but I don't know what kind or the springs or helix to go with.

Can I get some input please?

Thank you.
