Turbo clutching question

2007 BD Turbo 2860. Shockwave helix turned out 1.5 turns, black- blue/white primary spring, green cat secondary spring, Silver Tip with 4 grams heel,4 grams mid, 14 grams toe. Getting good up shift and jumping right to 10,300 rmps. No problem coming off throttle and hammering it back up to 10,300. If I hold throttle open on long pull the rpms will bleed off to around 9,600 to 9,800. Riding at 8000 ft. If I tighten helix rpms will jump up to 10,500, but I start to loose back shift. I'm happy with the 10,300 its making but not sure how to get it to hold this rpm??

Merry Christmas, Ride safe.

How much boost you running?
What did the a/f read when it pulled rpm and when the rpm fell?
How much total weight is in there?

Sounds like you have way to much tip weight when your clutch is trying to shift out. Swap the the tip and the toe weights and it should be good to go. You must have pretty high engagement RPM set up like this. Once you swap them, all should be fine.

Your primary weights are set up bass-ackwards. allways go heaviest mass inner going progressively lighter towards the tip with a polaris/ac profile ramp.

clutch weights

This is jmo, but I have never gotten my supertips to work for my riding style with the tungstens in the toe. Pulls like a mother out of the hole then drops off if you load it up on the hill in good snow. With the weight in the heel I find its abit slower out of the hole, but holds peak rpm no matter what you throw at it w/no belt slip when crawling along. Just what I have found with my setup. If you are on hard snow, the toe weight works fine b/c you don't need backshift, the damn thing just goes faster and faster LMAO!
