turbo choices

so i need to get one for my 1000

choices are t 28s which may be too small i guess

3071 - 3076

ball bearing preferred so it will have an R

area ratio .6 or smaller -

any opinions

6-8 lbs pg is the plan 3-7000 ft elevation

I don,t have any advice for you on what size turbo you'll need for your M1000, but I would recommend calling Cutler's Performance Center in Utah for the right awnser's to your questions, they really know their stuff, they've helped me out in the past big time.

Running that level of boost many companies are running the gt3071r internally waste gated turbo with an .86 ratio. It has the t28 exhaust housing. An alternative is a 3071 or 3076 with a t3 exhaust housing. but for low boost levels the first turbo should do fine.

The question to ask is what tuner you going to use? The guys at ovs experiment with a lot of different turbos and probably have a program that what fit. Not all companies have programs that work as well on different turbo sizes.
