does anyone know how an apex compares with a nytro? having similar mod's done. i'm interested in buying either one, probably alpines kit and haven't heard anything. anyone?

I just rode mine yesterday for the first time at 10lbs and it is sick. Flattest tq curve on anything but a big block V8. Instant boost and unreal throttle response. I am coming on 2 TM7s at 12lbs and this is the motor every sled should have. I was going to do TAPEX but I am so happy I went this way. I cant wait for 16lbs

I've seen a thread on here with a vid of the two on the same hill, and the Nytro was loosing some momentum towards the ends of the climbs. Something about the track.

thaks guys for the info! ive ridden a couple of alpines turbos up at whistler and there great for the open big hills. they felt kinda heavy thats why im leaning towards a nytro.

The nytro's are way snappier and feel alot lighter.It would be hard to beat a nytro with an apex boost for boost......maybe after 500'. After riding the 4 cyl for four years, I'd never go back............Well unless Yamaha give's it a major diet off the front.

Snappiest boosted 4 stroke I have read....glad I kinda waited. I thought about boosting my apex many a time but for the terrain we ride it just wasnt the right combo. So far the Boosted nytro is the ultimate combo

Sounds Like Some Cool Sleds. Ive Got A Big Triple Im Taking To The Big Dawg Shootout That I Thinks Gonna Suprise Alot Of People. Its A Fast Sled But I Want Something More Reliable.

you mite be surprised by how many very fast turbos are there canada seams to be the 4stroke turbo capital.there was one 2stroke that did well last year it was cory micku all carbonfiber rev with a 1250 bikeman & nos very fast.fast n/a sleds are very cool i would love a watercraft tripple in a old mountain max would be cool.
i didn't get to run against anyone last year due to my buddy and i showing up late. to much crown royal in whistler village. dam those canadians know how to party!!!!!! i think i'll lay off the whiskey this year!! i've got a big triple that i think will do well against those big turbos.
