Turbo Apex rocks

So I finally got the chance to ride a turbo Apex today and my god do they go! This was an Alpine front mount built by my buddy Sandy at Barretts and I gotta say they know how to set em up. climbing past 3/4 throttle on hero snow was getting scary, probably needs an M10 under it. Damn now I'm hooked on boost

I really love my Apex, its dialed in perfectly and goes anywhere I want BUT, there is something about being able to go up that hill at 60mph that puts a big grin on my face. I think the turbo ruined me today though. Maybe I can sell a kidney LOL

Kind of sad really that Yamaha has dropped the Apex from its line up. Its such a good chassis and the motor is hard to beat. Hopefully they will bring it back better than ever in the near future.

you could always pick up a lay over short track for cheap and get a tunnel for it

yup that is always an option for someone, but I have found you can change the track, skiis, and re-clutch the Apex MTX and it works awesome as a mountain sled. Just takes some getting used to.
I did the Camo Extreme, Gen II skis, some suspension, exhaust and clutching mods and I have no problem going where the 2 smokes go. I gotta get a ride on the new Nytro and see what they are like, I can imagine that the non-current Apex MTX's wont sit long as they are now on the endangered species list.

Im pretty sure they didnt stop making the apex, just quit selling it in Canada. Not 100% but close .
