Ok here is a video clip I threw together last night on the Turbo Apex.
They have been logging by our cabin and it has opend up a hill that hasn't been rideable before. Oh yeah, I didn't put music on this one because the sound of the turbo is music to my ears.

This next clip is part of the first one but with helmet cam footage attached to it as well.

Let me know if you like that footage or not. I have lots of helmet cam footage and want to get everyones opinion on if this would be cool to see more of or not.
Thanks.

really like the vids! Around the 2 minute mark of the first vid when you are coming down and whip it back up the hill... SWEET! Everyone said that the M chassis is the only one you can do that on. HAHA!

Whats the story with "the thrown rod"?

All turbo apex vids should be raw sound, nothing sounds better in my book!!!!!!

My REV 800 has a bad crank and has ate through 2 clutches in the last 100 miles, not a thrown rod. He didn't know and just said that because I say I don't ride the sleds very hard but yet my sled is broken again.

Nice...more evidence of how the weight of that thing kills it's mobility in the trees [sic]. Nice sled, great riding. :beer;

sweet vids

Thats the best tree hoppin video ive seen with a 4 stroke... I liked it...
But.... The trees is where I love to play... and lightweight dominates.... But im still impressed... :beer;:beer;:beer;:beer;

Thats just about normal isnt it?

What people dont understand is that the apex is balanced in the deep, making them very nimble! Sure heavy has its downfalls but I havent ridden a sled more balanced than the apex in the deep!!

IMO and others will agree, the rev is more balanced than the XP. Alot of people I know regret making that switch and would rather have their rev back.

I've seen boosted Apexes do some amazing things, in the trees and on long pulls. Yes weight has it's inherent downside, however boost makes up for alot. Just don't get er stuck...I've seen that too.

LOL yeah there is no substitute for power, but when you get them stuck its time to break out the shovels. And you better hope you have another guy around to help you get it moved around.

Great vids Yammadoo! I was out yesterday in a couple feet of powder doing the same thing, made a couple turns going down then went back up hill. It seemed to open some eyes out there, one guy said " whats in that thing a 1200?" I couldnt imagine having another 150hp from the turbo.:D

really nice video man, that dude can make that thing go good in the pow!!

gotta say, I really enjoy your vids, you understand how to film very well... i can watch it for a long time and not get sick from shakes or over zoom.

I must admit i am impressed with the yamie man. sweet video! I wish i had someone to tape me and the knowledge to post it up. The vid with the helmat cam is awesome too. My kinda riding. I could do that all day everyday. Constantly looking for a little more difficult line.

nice video but as far as tree riding goes those things are spaced pretty far apart.

Well if the trees are much closer you wouldn't be able to get any video at all. Trust me I have tried. Before the logging was finished on that hill i went up it a few times but you couldn't ever see me because the trees were too thick. The video is not worth posting. Sorry I didn't have my helmet cam then.
