Turbo Apex crankcase venting?

What is everyone doing to vent their crankcase on the Apex engine. I know there is a rollover valve but I dont think its really needed on the Apex, for sure the Nytro. What hose and routing do you guys recommend? Any help or pics would be appreciated. Thanx Shad

i know that alpine takes the hose that is inside the stock airbox and sticks it on. the hose then goes underneath everything and it out of the way and the hose opening is on the oil tank side.

how do you think that the nytro needs the roll over valve more so than the apex? pretty sure its same location on either engine and both engines will pump oil out the breather if running upside down.

I will have to get ahold of that hose inside the stock air box. The Nytro and Apex are different, the Nytro oil tank has a vent line to the air box and the Apex doesnt. The Apex will leak oil through the crankcase but no nearly as much as the Nytro from the oil tank. Thanx for the help. Shad

Shad, I have been putting rollover valves on most of the Nytro's this season. Apex doesn't have the problem anywhere near like the Nytro. Depending on how you are doing the crancase venting you could put one on as a safegaurd. How much time you plan on spending upside down

Alpine sells their own version of a rollover valve in the form of a mini oil tank that sits above the existing one. The way the piping is angled inside the mini tank prevents the oil from running out when the sled is upside down. I just installed one on my sled, the fella's at Alpine have them installed on all their Nytros and have had no problems with them!
