Ok so have a couple of questions. First my sled, by my user name you know it is a VE 700 .It’s a 04 with a slp pipe, can, air box, mild port job and a 151 track. The sled runs great and I don’t have any real clutching problems. I have 4700 miles on the sled total and around 300 on new top end. I want to replace the spring in my primary and secondary just because they have so many miles on them. My main question is what springs work best? If I’m going to replace them why not use the best set up. My primary uses a black green now with 58g weight (I need to shave my weight down to 57/56 I think to get my top rpm right). My secondary uses a black red (I think it’s been a while). My next question is about gearing. I have 19/39 gears now seems to work good so I figured I would leave them alone but would like to get some feed back. Most of my riding is above 9500 and some times in the 8500 (RE). I manly boon dock and hill clime.
