Who makes a rack to keep stuff off my heat exchanger. I have a rev 154 on its way!

The Craiggerbuilt worked great for me last year and am now putting this setup on my 09 154X
i'm using two holz racing on my 09
VMI Rack
This is a new rack for the back of your tunnel. It comes with five cross bars that can be placed in different places depending on bag or gas can size. Three of the cross bars are mounted on the top set of holes, the other two can be mounted on the lower set of holes. A gas can or bag can be supported by the two lower cross bars without touching the heat exchanger. Extra cross bars can be purchased at $5 each.These racks will strengthen the back of your sled. The racks come with all Stainless hardware needed to mount it to your sled. The racks are designed to fit a Skidoo Summit Rev-XP sled with a 146, 154, or 163 long track. The items that you place on the rack that are not placed on the cross bars, will sit on your heat exchanger. Six 1/4 hole must be drilled through the tunnel to mount the rack. The rack is 16 1/2 wide by 3 inches tall.

Here's a pic of VMI's rack but we made a different tray for the fuel caddy. Nice well made rack and I recommend it. The tray works out well for the 6 gal can also when spending the whole day in the woods. 2.5 gal shown.

Renegade 137 racks now
I now make racks for the Renagade 137. They are 18 inches long. All the same options as the other racks. They come with 5 crossbars and sell for $130.

What about the d or double d rack from cheetah factory? they are pretty sweet. I will be using one of these to carry skis and a snowboard, and a gas can of course.

I ordered one of these from Bob on Tuesday and it arrived today. Wow! The quality is outstanding and all stainless hardware. His customer service is fantastic and he ships quick. I was at a snow show today and met up with my sled salesman and was telling him about the rack as he has two Summits on order himself. He asked me to bring it by the shop so he could see it. I suspect they'll be ordering some for the shop to sell once they see this. The ones they were selling at the show were the universal style and not even close to the funtionality or quality of this unit. Now if only my 600 Renegade was here......
The double d rack from cheetahfactory racing is the **** if your packing a ski or snowboard. It holds a 5 gallon tank *(standard tank costs about 10 bucks), and holds your ski or snowboard better than anything day after day. We always stash the gas close to where we start doubling up. Good luck! The vmi looks sick though. Looks like you could figure out a way to ty anything to it.

I put the VMI rack on my wife's 146 last week. This is the most functional and best built rack out there. You can set it up to carry factory gas cans or just plain generic cans. It will accomodate most all bags. It adds strength and ridgidity along the length on the rear tunnel area to carry the weight of your goodies. Bob and VMI are top notch in customer service and shipping. I liked my first one so much I'm ordering another for my 09 146 X.
