Tunnel Question

I bought a wrecked RMK 900 and I'm in the process of fixing it. The question I have is the back part of the tunnel where the heat exchanger is seems to be about 28 inches long where it rivets to the main tunnel section while others are about 21 inches. Why is this a longer than normal tunnel?

mine is only 18 1/2 inches on the 151 track. I am guessing the difference in length you are seeing is because you have the 159/166 tunnel.

Yes I have the 159 can anyone with the same length please verify this tunnel with theirs I'd really appreciate it. Only reason I'm asking is because I need to fix my tunnel and want to know the difference. I have a replacement tunnel but its for a 151 hence the 18 and 1/2 length. I am thinking about taking the end section off mine and putting it on the 151 tunnel.

Just measure out the rest of the tunnel and if everything else matches you should be able to do it with no problems. I know the 151 was one length and the 159 and 166 share the same length tunnel.

yes the tunnel extensions are different as well as the heatexchangers on the sides of the tunnel need the 159/166 tunnel or switch the extension
