Tunnel Polishing?

Thinking of an off season project. Since I can't ride, I'll spend some nice quality "summer" time with the sled until the snow flies again.
Looking for advice and tips to make 'er shine! Anyone done this? What were your results, and how labor intensive?

wet sand the whole tunnel with 1500 then 3000
after that a mothers polish ball some polish and terry clothes and lots of hours then i would recommend clear coating to keep the finish
