Ordered a 14, I have gas racks on other sleds, I know there are some new products available over the past two years. Does anyone have experiences or recommendations they would like to share?
Thanks....

Mountain Addiction for solid can construction (that pours without spilling all over also), easy installation, and flexibility with can sizes and storage.

Is there any noticeable riding difference with the added weight on the back of the sled?

I see the mountain addiction setup is built for two 1.3 gallon jugs or a single 3.3 gallon. Any advantage to running 2 smaller jugs compared to one larger?

I think the risk vs. reward is totally worth it to carry spare fuel - just curious about the setup.

I bought Mountain Addiction cans and 1 bag. Rock solid and easy to mount. Everything is up off your tunnel so if you have a wrap you don't have a bag rubbing it while your riding. The bag is actually one of their fuel cans with the top cut off so no moisture will get through the bottom. You can literally lift the back end of the sled off the ground by the gas tank handles. Rock solid stuff.

Heard the large can is more awkward to pour but it holds more if needed than the twin cans.

One advantage of the smaller tanks is they make a small bag that is the size of the little tank that sllows you to run one tank and the bag right next to it on the same set of rails.

X2 on risk vs reward

Old style rev-xp gas cans work pretty sweet as well. Tuck up nicely under the 11 and 12 models seats. Got cousins that run the rev cans on new pro climbs as well fwiw. Sorry only pic I could find, I was selling some spare parts.

Never had any problems when I had one on my ski doo.
I would go with the mountain addiction one for a RMK pro, would be really nice. Lots of options: colors, bags, fuel can sizes. Simple and versatile.

Anyone have experience with rotopax? Seems solid and low profile, so when jumping from side to side, feet wouldn't catch on gas cans. Not sure though.

I have the Craigerbuilt setup on my Pro. I like that it comes off and on easily as does the mount itself. I'm not crazy about the bag but it's functional. I'm thinking of making a mount for a Pelican case so I can carry my camera easily.

Polaris dealer sells that set up out here. I looked at it the mounting bracket was very heavy and I did not like the fact that the gas can sat flat on the tunnel with the cap on the side.
Was not cheap if I remember close to $200 ??

I put a 1.5 gallon Rotopax mount & can on my 13 Pro last seaon. No issues at all with boot contact when jumping from one side to the other or with the can coming loose. I highly recommend this gas can & mount system.
